Recognized for his ability to portray evil characters, Jeff Kober has worked as a professional actor for twenty years. He came to Hollywood via Montana and in Los Angeles he studied the Meisner technique with Ed Kaye-Martin and Maria Gobetti. He has appeared in numerous feature films, including A Man Apart, Enough, The First Power and the Academy Award/E winning short film, Session Man.
Kober has also made his mark in television. Among his extensive credits, the high point would be the brooding Vietnam soldier, on China Beach. He also has had regular roles on The Kindred and Baltimore; recurring roles on Nothing Sacred, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Vegas; and guest starring roles on Law and Order: SVU, N.Y.P.D. Blue, E. R., C. S. I. and many others.
On stage Kober has appeared most recently in Defying Gravity, The Rainmaker and Murder in the First, at the Rubicon Theatre. He worked for several years with Jenny Sullivan and John Ritter helping to develop Jenny's play, J for J, with performances in New York, he directed a one-man performance of Bhagavad Gita: The Song of God.
